Dear readers (31.01.2024)

I am contacting you today to present the excellent work of a social service agency, the Abrigo Centre, of which I am a member of their Board and Fundraising Event Committee. This registered charity and non-profit organization has worked primarily for the Portuguese-speaking community for 33 years.

On March 2nd, Abrigo will host a fundraising dinner that aims to raise funds for the programs that support women and their children who experience gender-based violence and abuse.

More detailed information about this exciting event and the beautiful work carried out by the Abrigo Center over the years can be found on the agency’s website:

I invite you to join me in supporting this fantastic cause. In addition to helping Abrigo’s clients, you will be promoting your business and contributing as a member of our community.

Visit today to purchase tickets or a sponsorship to the event. I hope to see you on March 2nd at our 2024 Fundraising Dinner!

Join us for Abrigo’s Fundraising Event of the Year!

Join us for an unforgettable evening at Abrigo’s most anticipated event of the year — our Fundraising Dinner. This is more than just a gathering; it’s an opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of women facing intimate partner violence. Indulge in a gourmet meal, enjoy live musical performances, and witness the creativity of local painters creating art live. Our silent auction offers a variety of exquisite items, and the night is capped off with dancing and celebration. Your attendance is not just a night out; it’s a step towards making a difference.

Your support means everything to us and to the women whose lives you’re helping to transform. Thank you for standing with us, for your generosity, and for believing in our cause. We look forward to celebrating this special evening with you!
