Cajú celebrates 10 years and continues to provide Torontonians with a “taste” of Brazilian cuisine and culture – making classic Brazilian dishes such as Feijoada, Moqueca, Pao de Quiejo and Caipirinhas mainstream in the vibrant food culture of Toronto.
Over the last 10 years, Caju’s Chef and owner, Mario Cassini’s has introduced Brazilian food and culture to Toronto and has shared his knowledge of the rich history of Brazilian cuisine. Cajú reflects Mario’s passion for his culture, food and heritage which he openly shares with all Torontonians. He has created unique programs to showcase Brazilian cuisine, including “Experience the Flavours of Brazil” media event and promotion in 2007 and “A Culinary Tour of Brazil” in 2011, organized and promoted with the City of Toronto.
