Shivpuri-"Madhav National Park"
The
summer capital of Gwalior Durbar, Shivpuri lies 1,315 feet above sea
level in the hills 110 kms from Lashkar. His late Highness Maharaja
Madhav Rao spent much money and personal time in making Shivpuri attractive
to all. It is well connected by road to Lashkar. During
the monsoon the temperature of Shivpuri is about the same as that of
other hill stations below 4000 ft elevation. |

The Yacht Club has its headquarters on Sakhya Sagar, an extensive artificial lake amid beautiful scenery. House boats, motor launches and sailing boats are kept for members and their friends. The chief attractions to visit are the Chhatri Of Maharani Sakhya Raje ,the Chhatri Of Maharaja Madhav Rao and Madho National Park. |
